The Ancient Wisdom Hidden in every Seed of Spring

Mar 21, 2025

The turning of the Seasons for the Spring Equinox, along with fiery Aries and a Venus Cazimi to kick off the emerging of New Energy - is the perfect time to get right to the origin, the point and the purpose, of the Friday Freedom Divine Seeds that I share each week with this beautiful community!

The wisdom of the seed is as ancient as time itself. Every seed holds the full blueprint of its fruition. A tree does not look outside itself to learn how to grow—it knows. It trusts. It does not question whether it will become what it was meant to be; it simply allows itself to unfold.

And so do you.

You were never meant to search outside yourself for the map. The Blueprint is contained within the seed already - the seed of You!  The path was written within you long before you arrived here. Your desires, your dreams, your becoming—they were planted in the sacred soil of your soul.

The ancient ones knew this. They understood that the seed must first rest in darkness before it emerges. That the pressure of the soil, the nourishment of the elements, and the passing of seasons all serve a purpose. The seed does not resist the process; it surrenders to it, knowing that blooming is inevitable.

But - the seed does not grow on its own, after all, the seed needs the conditions around it and within it, to help it bloom. It requires care, devotion, and the right environment to thrive. And so do you.

First, the seed must be acknowledged.

How often do we dismiss our own divine potential? How often do we doubt that we carry something sacred within us? Before a seed can grow, it must be recognized for what it is—a vessel of life, of power, of promise.

You, beautiful soul, are that vessel.

To acknowledge the seed within you means to see yourself clearly—to recognize your worth, your purpose, your sacred calling. It means no longer questioning whether you are meant to bloom, but instead, trusting that you already are in the process of blooming. Your becoming is not a matter of “if,” but when.

Second, the seed must be tended to with devotion.

A mother does not place her newborn in a crib and walk away, expecting it to raise itself. She nourishes it. She watches over it. She holds it close with love, knowing that within this tiny being, everything it needs to grow and thrive is already present. She does not question whether the child is worthy of care—she simply loves, knowing that life itself is sacred.

And so it is with you.

It is not enough to simply acknowledge that you carry something sacred within you—you must honour it. Your seed is not something separate from you; it is you. You are both the seed and the one who nurtures it. The fact that you hold this divine essence within you means that you are already enough. Already whole. Already worthy.

Because you are sacred, you are also the guardian of your own unfolding. You have within you the wisdom, the strength, and the love required to tend to your own becoming. You must create space for your growth, not because you are lacking, but because your fullness deserves room to expand. You must protect your seed from the voices—both within and without—that whisper of doubt, of fragility, of impossibility.

Instead, hold it close. Nourish it with reverence, patience, and devotion. Just as the mother instinctively knows how to care for her child, you, too, know how to care for the sacred within you. The blueprint of your becoming is already written, and when you tend to it with love, its blooming is not just possible—it is inevitable.

Third, the seed must use the external to further its growth.

Life will not always feel like a gentle spring rain. Sometimes, the winds will be harsh. Sometimes, the sun will burn too hot. Sometimes, the storms will shake you to your roots.

But the seed does not curse the wind—it uses it. The rain does not drown it—it nourishes it. The shifting of the seasons is not a threat—it is a necessity.

What if every external force in your life—the challenges, the heartbreaks, the unexpected turns—was not here to hinder you, but to grow you? What if the very things you thought were blocking you were actually shaping you, strengthening you, making you ready for the moment of emergence?

Finally, the seed must embrace the season it is in.

Too often, we resist the season we find ourselves in. We want the bloom without the rooting, the fruit without the waiting, the arrival without the journey.

But the seed does not rush its process. It knows that even in the stillness of winter, something sacred is happening beneath the surface. It does not question the darkness, because it knows that the darkness is where its strength is gathered.

In other words, your season is not a mistake. If you are still underground, it is because your roots are growing. If you feel scattered by the winds, it is because life is carrying you to richer soil. If you are feeling the stirrings of emergence, it is because your time is near.

Right now, we are in the sacred pause of spring’s awakening. The seed, once dormant, is stirring. And you, too, are being invited to emerge.
